Giuseppe Boni is a Sales and Marketing executive with over 20 years experience in HVAC, Heavy Equipment and Vehicle Manufacturing. Giuseppe is fluent in English, French, and Italian.
In 1998 he joined Piaggio & C. S.p.A. as Senior V.P., Marketing. In 2000 Giuseppe began collaborating with Laitmon, Inc. on the re-launching of the Vespa brand in the U.S.
Giuseppe was appointed Senior V.P. by Aprilia, Italy's second largest 2 wheel vehicle group in 2002. The company was losing money after a series of acquisitions including Moto Guzzi and Laverda. Giuseppe re-designed Aprilia's sales infrastructure and leveraged its matrix organization. He established independent subsidiary companies in U.S., Japan and Greece and liaison offices in Beijing and Delhi. In the two years that Giuseppe held the role, Aprilia's losses decreased from 75 million Euros to 5 million Euros.
During this time at Aprilia, he was elected by the Italian Scooter & Motorcycle Association as President of the Motorcycle Manufacturers Group.
In 2003, Giuseppe founded Idea Business Consulting s.r.l. Among current projects he is working on are a world-wide launch for a historic high-end Italian motorcycle brand and a Joint Venture between an Italian company and a large Asian industrial concern, encompassing manufacturing and distribution.
Giuseppe collaborates with Laitmon Inc, on both European and U.S. initiatives.
